The operator behind the fleet
John Kelliher founded Stryder Transportation in 2002 and, over twenty-five years, built it into Temecula Valley’s most decorated transportation family. Under his direction, Stryder earned the Temecula Valley Chamber of Commerce Gold Business of the Year (2017), and its sister company, Grapeline Wine Tours, was ranked the #1 wine tour company in the country by the USA Today 10Best Readers’ Poll (2020).
He built the company on a single premise: professional transit should feel like the finest luxury hospitality. That conviction comes from a background in estate guest services and high-volume routing operations, where the difference between a good day and a flawless one always came down to the details nobody sees.
Today, John personally oversees the parts of the business guests never think about, and never have to: the driver-vetting programs, the maintenance facilities, the insurance and licensing files, and the partner network that lets Temecula Limos source any vehicle for any occasion. It’s the machinery behind the promise that every ride is chauffeur-grade.
When Temecula Limos launched, it was John’s way of putting that 25-year operating backbone behind one simple, client-first brand, with the custom Speakeasy Party Bus at the very front of the line.
Why the details are the whole job
Ask John what business he’s in and he won’t say limousines. He’ll say peace of mind. A party bus can be spotless and a chauffeur can be early, but what actually lets a wedding party or a group of friends relax is knowing that every license, background check, and scheduling backup was handled long before the car pulled up.
“We believe the vehicle is only half the experience. The other half is the complete peace of mind that comes from knowing every insurance file, license, background check, and scheduling backup is flawlessly managed. When you step into one of our party buses, your only responsibility is to enjoy the night.”
